mididings software package provides MIDI router and processor based on Python, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mididings
mididings is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mididings package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mididings *
You will get with mididings package name, version, architecture and description in a table
